As an Early Intervention Specialist, you would work with infants and toddlers birth to age 3, who have or are at risk for a delay in their development. We work with the child utilizing play therapy in their home with a caretaker present addressing areas of delay: cognition language, motor, adaptive, and social-emotional skills. Clients are usually seen one to two hours per week. This is a Regional Center vendor program and our primary goal is to address IFSP goals.
Both Part-time to full-time are available. You must have a bachelor's degree, preferably in early child development. Bilingual preferred. Hourly client visit ranges from $24.00 to $28..00 per client hour plus monthly stipends, mileage, and travel time.
Must be computer literate.
This position that requires mentoring of EIS' in a specific geographical area. Minimal supervision of both fieldwork and paperwork.
This position requires approximately 15 hours a week of office work completion of all new intakes and reviews in the assigned area.
To apply for this position you must have a minimum of two full years of experience working with another early intervention program, knowledge of completing intakes and use of the DAYC-2 is mandatory.
This is a 40 hour per week salaried position that includes both vacation and sick pay.
